Well what a week, this new job I’ve started is definately good but hard work getting up every morning at bloody 5.50am!

I think for the next month or so updates will only occur on the weekends unless I’m feeling crazy due to how much little time I have to myself.

This little bit of work is entitled “Green Team” for those who count themselves members of green team, there are a couple more like this with others in the works. Just bear with me on getting them done.

So, Friday treat for you all:

I’ve been reading a bit of the ‘Walking Dead’ by image comics recently, good novel, with fantastic zombie drawings, and after watching ‘Black Sheep’ I thought I’d try my hand at some. Was really pleased with this guy, so much so I decided to ink him.

There’s hardly any pencil marks as he just jumped on the paper (or maybe shuffled on) without me thinking, I think I kind of zoned in or something

I think my next little sketch idea is to draw one with as many zombies as possible, kind of a personal challenge, a horde if you will

I’ll post that one up once its done as well.

Well as you can probably see (I hope anyway!) I have added a status bar on the right side bar of the site, this is to give you a good idea how much of the Xbox 360 wire comic is done. I do try to keep to the schedule of posting at the beginning of the month but life is hectic these days and I don’t always make it in time *winces in awaiting abuse*. The progress bar should help you all to tell when the best time to check the site is, once the actual comic is up the progress bar will show 100% and I will leave it there for an undefined amount of time so you’re aware (the progress bar title is also linked to the archive for easier clicking).

As I start other projects and comics I will be setting up more progress bars so that Colonel’s Comics will be kind of a ‘one stop shop’ for all my bit and pieces I’m working on.

Hopefully this will improve the use of the site a wee bit! Shall also post some new sketches this eve/tomor morning so keep an eye out! Hope you all have a fun week!

Ok, this post is specifically for a friend of mine, who needs some cheering up during his battle of the “bugs”

This is based on his work, which you can find here. I got the inspiration while watching a rather enjoyable little film “Black Sheep”, reminded me so much of the easter egg on the night of the living dead collectors dvd, “Night of the living BREAD!”.
